"Sea of Flames" is a self portrait inspired by the symbolism and archetype of The Hermit Tarot card. Reflecting the inward journey that's depicted with the solitary figure alone in an ocean of darkness she has a guiding light, a flame in her bare palm shaped like a heart. There are tentacles in the sea that appear to be holding her up so she can cast her guiding light through the darkness.
Sea of Flames shows hope, beauty and resilience in the darkness.
